The Heritage offers something that no other golf club in Ireland has – a Seve Ballesteros designed parkland course.
A par 72 championship course, it's set in the beautiful rolling countryside of Co. Laois, just one hour from Dublin, with the Slieve Bloom Mountains as a backdrop.
This course provides one of the most enjoyable experiences for golfers of all standards in Ireland. Five lakes and a stream meander through the course and brings water into play on 10 holes. Add to that 98 beautifully shaped bunkers and 7,000 trees, and you know you're in for a real treat.
A variety of tees allow the course to be played from 5,747 to 7,319 yards, and the gently undulating terrain makes it perfectly suited for a relaxing game. The clubhouse offers a fully stocked professional shop, a delightful restaurant, and a stylish bar and lounge.
Seve Ballesteros, in conjunction with Jeff Howes built the course at the Heritage to bring out the natural beauty of the countryside of Killenard, and it shows. This place is meticulously maintained in order to give players the best golf experience possible.
